TMS Treatment
Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an innovative & non-drug treatment device currently approved by the FDA to treat patients with treatment-resistant Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Deep TMS At A Glance
Deep TMS is a newer treatment designed to help individuals with mental health conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder, Anxious Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Smoking Addiction. Using Advanced H-Coil technology, Deep TMS delivers electromagnetic pulses to stimulate neurons in specific areas of the brain that are associated with mood regulation, impulse behavior, and cognitive function.

TMS is administered by technicians under the supervision of a Psychiatrist or Advanced Practice Provider. Initial intake involves thorough review of medical and psychiatric history, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

During treatments, individuals are comfortably seated in a chair with the helmet in place. Treatment is delivered through a gentle tapping sensation to the scalp, with each session typically lasting for 20 minutes. The total number of treatment varies based on your condition, but typically 36 sessions are required for Major Depressive Disorder and 29 sessions are required for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in order to achieve a clinical response.

The Facts
Proven Efficacy
Deep TMS is FDA-cleared for treating depression, anxious depression, OCD, and smoking addiction. Clinical studies have shown that it can significantly improve symptoms and quality of life, including among patient that have not seen sufficient benefit from traditional treatment options.

Patient Friendly
Deep TMS has no systemic side effects commonly associated with medication and no potential for memory loss, as sometimes seen with ECT. Sessions are short, and most patients experience no significant downtime, making it easy to integrate into daily life.

Outpatient Treatment
Patients are awake and alert during the short treatment, sitting in a comfortable chair under a padded and cooled helmet with staff available at all times.

No Surgery or Implants
The noninvasive nature of Deep TMS means no needles, no anesthesia, and no permanent implants.

Sustained Results
Many patients report lasting symptom relief after completing a full course of treatment, and maintenance sessions can help to sustain results over time.
